The GMO ERA Project is a consortium of partners on five continents, including partners in: Partners: Embrapa research institutes and Universities The project regional group is based in Brazil, and has links with other Latin American countries. The GMO ERA Project partnered with Embrapa Genetic Resources and Biotechnology, and Embrapa Environment. The project group also includes scientists from the main Brazilian research universities. The Brazil Expert Teaching Team (ETT) has been established in Brazil, with teaching materials and the capacity to teach regulators and scientists in Latin America using the project methods. Partners: Vietnam Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) and Ministry of Natural Resources and the Environment (MONRE) The project regional group is focused on Vietnam. The GMO ERA Project is partnered in Vietnam with a local team based in the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) and Ministry of the Environment and Natural Resources (MONRE). The project group includes key scientists from each of the MARD institutes carrying out biosafety research and development of GMOs in Vietnam: Institute of Biotechnology, Agricultural Genetics Institute, Cuulong Delta Rice Research Institute, and the Institute for Cotton Research and Development. Other ministries, universities and research institutes are also represented.
Partners: BiosafeTrain Project The project collaborated on training activities in East Africa with a Danida-funded project - BiosafeTrain - based in three East African countries (Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda) and Denmark. |
